The Bois du Cazier newsletter reports the permanent acquisition of the installation of eight thermoformed glass miners' outfits, hanging in the Espace 8 août since 2018, funded by the National Lottery with support from minister Bénédicte Linard. The artist says he wanted to work on absence, echoing the 1956 disaster's hanging-room.
